Portfolio

I don't have a job title for what I want to do next.

Close to ten years in tech: technical support first, then Customer Success, owning a portfolio of SaaS accounts end to end. I grew up in Chile and have lived in Israel long enough to call Tel Aviv home too, and I've always been more curious about why people insist on working and behaving the way they do than about job titles. The technical years taught me how to think through a problem. Customer Success is what built my ability to work with clients, build relationships, and work across teams. I try hard to find the real cause before I offer a fix, escalate the right problem to the right team at the right time, and tell a customer the true thing even when it's harder. None of that comes with a portfolio. So I built one.

hi. Valentina Mordoh

Before you keep scrolling

This didn't come from a template.

I don't have deliverables for the jobs I actually want, only stories from the job I've had. So instead of waiting until I actually have one of those jobs to build them, I built some now.

Chapter One · Customer Success

"They'd been promised something that wasn't possible yet."

Home goods retailer, ShopifyEscalated to Solutions Engineering

This customer came to us already using Shopify's newer login: customers verify with just an email or phone number and a one-time code, no password. Our platform wasn't built for that yet, and nobody caught it.

Chapter Two · Product Enablement

"The over-redemption was real. The number they were using wasn't."

Inherited mid-disputeWorked with Solutions Engineering

I inherited this account from a teammate going on leave. Her transfer note said the customer claimed we'd cost them money, we hadn't, and the case was closed. That wasn't enough to actually resolve anything, so I went back to the account history instead of the note.

Chapter Three · Ops & Enablement

"I didn't set out to fix anything. I just wanted to see my own numbers clearly."

Self-initiatedGoogle Sheets, pivot tables

Our QBR template was thin, especially on numbers. It listed what a loyalty program had running, sign-ups, some totals, but no real comparisons and no graphs. I'm a visual person. If I can't see something plotted against something else, I don't really get it, so I started building my own slides in Sheets, pivot tables against redemption and earning-rule data, just so I could actually understand my own accounts.

One more thing

What the QBR rebuild actually looked like

I don't have access to real Yotpo data anymore. So the account below is invented. It's here to show how I'd structure a report from usage data, not to report a real customer's numbers.

Tel Aviv, and open to remote or hybrid within reach of it.

Salesforce, SQL and MySQL at a basic level, Spanish, English, and Hebrew, and enough pivot tables to build the dashboard above from scratch.
